To spread the news about HOT SHAVE, in By a Whisker Series we interview a men’s grooming expert on how they shave their own faces and their observations on the device.

JASON CLARK SHAVING PROFILE

Style: Clean shaven with goatee
Whisker texture: Coarse, straight and thick
Shaving tools: 3-blade razor (before HOT SHAVE)
Shave wet: Wet
Temperature: Warm water
Shaving product: Edge Shaving Gel
Shaves face how often: Every two days

Goateed photographer and new HOT SHAVE convert, Jason Clark has found that his grooming routine is that much faster now.

“I’ve been shaving my head and keeping my hair with a low fade hair since high school,” he reports. “Then a few years ago, I went with shaving my scalp completely clean.”

Normally, Jason shaves his face every two or three days, and his head every two days.

“When I was testing out the HOT SHAVE,” he says “I shaved my face as instructed. So far, so good. But the results were so smooth – and fast – that I decided to keep going and see what would happen if I tried it on my head too.”

The results were amazing. Even though the 3-head HOT SHAVE is not designed for the scalp, Jason found that it got his head much much smoother than his previous 5-head clippers ever did.

“Smooth is my priority here,” he says. “I’ve finally found my method and my skin feels amazing too.”

HOT SHAVE is a USB-powered electric shaver developed and manufactured by skincare tools and product formula maker Ya-Man Ltd. in Japan. In addition to delivering a clean, close shave, it also conditions the skin.
