To kick off the launch of HOT SHAVE, we’re introducing this series called By a Whisker where we interview a men’s grooming expert on how they shave and their observations on the device.
SAMER HAMAYEL SHAVING PROFILE Style: Clean shaven |
Samer Hamayel, a popular hairdresser and men’s grooming expert working at Planet Salon in West Hollywood, likes a close shave which can be a challenge since his beard is so dense and wielding a razor with too heavy a hand can irritate his skin. HOT SHAVE delivered the goods though while conditioning his skin at the same time.
“HOT SHAVE leaves my skin feeling like velvet,” Samer reports, “Last week a client sitting in my chair gave me the best compliment, she said my skin was looking particularly good. I’m sure it was the shaver.”
Samer was impressed that included in the package is a full selection of plug-in adapters that fit onto the USB charger. This means you can safely use and recharge the device on international travel.
“I’ll admit that there a bit of a learning curve when I first picked it up,” Samer says. “because the shape of the instrument was not what I was used to. But after a few tries I got it. Gently stretching the skin as the directions suggested was very helpful. After that, HOT SHAVE cleared my face and neck much faster than I can do it myself with a razor.”
HOT SHAVE is a USB-powered electric shaver developed and manufactured by skincare tools and product formula maker Ya-Man Ltd. in Japan. In addition to delivering a clean, close shave, it also conditions the skin.
“After getting the hang of the device, HOT SHAVE cleared my face and neck much faster than I can do it myself with a razor.”
